Blending tradition with innovation: bringing boutique wines to a wider audience

Soljans Estate Winery is a family-run Kiwi winery with roots going back to 1927, when the Soljan family started making wine as Pergola Wines from their house on Lincoln Road, which still stands today. In 1937, the name changed to Soljans Wines, and these days, the winery is based in Kumeu and run by the third generation of the family. With a Bistro, Cellar Door, and event spaces on-site, it’s a place that’s all about great wine and good vibes. The wines are award-winning, but the atmosphere is relaxed, friendly, and true to its family-run spirit.

“Wineries are famously fancy, but we aren't. We do what we do well, and we pride ourselves on our down to earth, friendly vibe. When I saw the DIY option with youdooh and realised I didn’t need to take out a second mortgage to try it, I was stoked!”
