Simplicity NZ is a non-profit, New Zealand-based KiwiSaver provider that aims to make investing simple, low-cost and transparent for its members. It focuses on maximising returns by keeping fees low and reinvesting profits into their members’ funds. When it comes to building awareness of their brand, Simplicity has its investors in mind and as such is always looking for cost effective ways to advertise and get their message out across New Zealand.
Simplicity tend to run their digital out of home campaigns across billboards nationwide, but whilst buying advertising packs can be good value, they don’t always have full control over when and where their ads play.
Simplicity were looking to add a tactical layer; they wanted to be able to target additional screens and areas that weren’t covered in their broader campaigns, at times of day that more people would be likely to see their ads.
With Youdooh’s simple and easy to use platform, Simplicity had their ads set up to run on billboards across New Zealand in minutes. They selected flagship sites like Memorial Drive at Auckland airport and Victoria Park Flyover, and only during rush hour rather than having to buy the whole week. This helped them maximise the impact of their ad plays whilst keeping costs down.
Youdooh has proved to be an affordable, fast and effective way to extend and target their out of home campaigns. It’s all helping Simplicity grow from strength to strength. They recently surpassed $7 billion in funds under management, having reached $6 billion just 6 months before that.
