Generation Homes is one of New Zealand’s most established residential builders, with over 28 years of experience delivering high quality homes across the country, specialising in a range of projects including: design and build for individual clients (urban and rural); subdivision residential; and commercial residential developments. Each region operates with its own priorities from launching new Show Homes, promoting cashback incentives, or driving design and build enquiries, all creating a constant need for tailored, locally relevant marketing. To keep pace with this activity the marketing team needed a way to stay visible in key regions while adapting messaging and spend to what each area needed most at any given time. Youdooh gave them the flexibility and agility they needed.

Timeparting to maximise impact and manage spend 

Rather than running full day campaigns Generation Homes used time parting, one of Youdooh’s key features, to focus activity around the high traffic periods surrounding each selected screen. Concentrating their presence during peak commuter windows, lunchtime foot traffic and weekend shopping guaranteed strong visibility while ensuring campaigns aligned to regional budgets.

One platform for every regional campaign 

With Youdooh, the team could quickly activate campaigns within a region, each with its own message, timing and creative requirements. Screens were selected based on their proximity to new subdivisions, high traffic retail zones or commuter routes, allowing each regional office to reach audiences where they were most likely to engage, all managed from the same central dashboard.

The ability to update creative instantly and shift spend between regions gave the team a level of responsiveness that traditional media buying simply couldn’t match. Campaigns could be launched within minutes, adjusted mid-flight and aligned precisely to local market conditions.

We can decide on a Monday that we need a key message in market for Taupo, for example, and have it up and running by 8am the next morning.
